Máxima chose a two-piece printed ensemble from NATAN, showcasing one of the fashion trends of 2026.
The shirt and the skirt share the same print, color, and texture. At first glance they look like a single piece, but the look Queen Máxima wore has a detail that makes it even more interesting: it is a two-piece set.
The Queen of the Netherlands chose for her engagement this Thursday a NATAN design consisting of a long-sleeve shirt and a wide skirt, both in a bronze/caramel tone with an irregular print in white and navy blue. The wide belt, also blue, defines the waist and adds another repeating element to the look.
Máxima bets on the printed two-piece set
Coordinated ensembles have been gaining ground as one of the most practical fashion formulas today. The queen wore this NATAN proposal during her visit to a symposium of the national program ZE&GG (Zorgevaluatie en Gepast Gebruik), held on Thursday, September 10, in Nieuwegein.
The gathering was dedicated to the ‘Less is More’ movement, which aims to reduce medical practices with little or no added value and to promote more effective, efficient, and patient-centered care. During the day, Máxima participated in various activities and spoke with representatives of projects related to this initiative.
For the queen’s schedule, it was another institutional commitment. For her wardrobe, however, she left a formula worth taking a closer look at: a printed two-piece set that works as a complete look and, at the same time, multiplies its uses.
