The health of Luis De Stefano, Iliana Calabró’s partner, has been a matter of concern for several days after it emerged that he remains intubated in the Intensive Care Unit at the Sanatorio Los Arcos due to a delicate clinical condition. Until now, none of his associates had made public statements, but that situation changed this Monday, August 3.
It was Calabró herself who, upon arriving at the sanatorium, spoke to a mobile journalist from Puro Show (El Trece) and provided details about the health status of the businessman.
“Thank you for everyone’s concern. He is very strong; he has overcome many things, so this won’t be an exception,” she stated cautiously, making clear her intention to keep the situation private.
During the interview, the reporter asked about the condition the businessman is facing. In recent days, it had been reported that De Stefano suffers from COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and that his hospitalization resulted from a worsening of that disease.
Calabró confirmed that information and explained what complication triggered the delicate situation. “Yes, for many years now. So, with that background, it worsened due to pneumonia,” she said before entering the health center.
