Franco Mercuriali and Mica Grinza celebrated this Friday twenty-two years of marriage and chose social media to mark the very special date. On this occasion, Mica shared in her Instagram Stories a photo from their church wedding—a snapshot from that day showing Franco as he places the ring on her finger.
Alongside the image, the journalist wrote: “Happy anniversary, I love you Franco Mercuriali”, and tagged her husband.
The TN journalist didn’t take long to respond. Franco reposted the photo in his own Stories and dedicated a brief but very affectionate message: “So lovely, clearly I’m stealing her”, accompanied by heart and love emojis.
The image belongs to one of the most special moments in the couple’s history, which began more than two decades ago in the field they both know very well: the media.
A love story that began in front of a microphone
Franco Mercuriali and Mica Grinza are journalists and broadcasters, and, as he recounted in an interview, their love story was born precisely while they were working.
“With my wife we’ve been together for 20 years, and very happy. We fell in love beside the microphone,” Mercuriali had told La Nación.
Over these 22 years of marriage, the couple built a family and welcomed two children, Pedro and Romeo. In 2024, when they marked 20 years of marriage, they celebrated the milestone with a trip to Greece.

In fact, last year, while celebrating their 21st wedding anniversary, Mica posted on her Instagram account a video that gathered different images from the life they have built together.
On that occasion, she had written: “Happy 21 years of marriage. I choose you in this and in all my lives. I love you”.
This year, to celebrate the 22 years of marriage, he shared a photograph from that wedding. A meaningful image that Franco chose to repost and accompany with a declaration as brief as it was affectionate: “So lovely, clearly I’m stealing”.
