Fabiana Araujo and Marcelo Dimini celebrated their wedding with an intimate ceremony and a reception in which the bride surprised with two very different looks. For the moment of saying yes, she chose a dress with pure lines and a minimalist aesthetic, while for the reception she changed into a short and more relaxed design.
The Ceremony Dress: Minimalism and a One-Shoulder Silhouette
For the ceremony, Fabiana Araujo trusted designer Mario Vidal, of Casa Iara, who was in charge of her first wedding dress. The choice was a modern and sophisticated design, distant from the more traditional resources of bridal fashion.
The dress stood out for its clean-line silhouette, between straight and slightly flared, which followed the figure without losing movement. The standout detail was the asymmetric, one-shoulder neckline, which added a design edge and reinforced its contemporary aesthetic.
Another of the elements that defined the look was the side drape, which added texture and movement over a base of simple lines. The dress was made in off-white satin, a material that provided shine and drape and served as a complement to a proposal centered on structure and silhouette. And it featured crystal appliqués on the shoulder and hip, a detail that added sparkle without excess.
Thus, Fabiana opted for a minimalist and modern bride, without tulle or hair adornments, in which the design and texture took greater prominence than embroidery, appliqués or lace.
The Second Look: a Short Dress to Enjoy the Party
After the ceremony, the bride completely changed her register for the celebration. To dance and enjoy the party, she chose a second dress designed by Ana Rossatti.
This time, it was a short, body-hugging, sleeveless model, much more comfortable and dynamic to match the pace of the celebration. The detail that transformed the design was a large bow located at the back, giving it a feminine and striking touch.
With this second look, Fabiana left behind the more solemn structure of the ceremony dress and chose a proposal designed to move, dance and enjoy a special night.
Additionally, she added a tiara, an accessory that reinforced the bridal character of the second look and further emphasized the change in style compared to the first dress.
The Red and Burgundy Bouquet That Broke with the White
Another detail that added personality to the bride’s look was the bouquet. Fabiana carried a bouquet of natural flowers in red and burgundy tones, a choice that created a striking contrast with the white of her dresses.
The intense colors of the flowers added a dose of drama and sophistication to the overall look and became one of the standout details of her wedding styling.
Two Dresses for Two Moments of the Wedding
With her two choices, Fabiana Araujo presented a wedding proposal designed to accompany each moment of the celebration. The first dress, designed by Mario Vidal for Casa Iara, embraced minimalism, asymmetry, and modern lines for the ceremony.
The second, by Ana Rossatti, took the look into a more festive and relaxed realm, with a short silhouette and a large back bow as the main feature.
