There are designers who forge an aesthetic, and others who, over time, end up inhabiting it. That seems to be the case with Fabián Paz, who today is entering one of the most captivating moments of his career. After years of building the creative universe of Pucheta Paz alongside Gustavo Pucheta, his own image has begun to become a natural extension of the brand’s language.
Now it’s not only about designing for others. Today Fabián also wears the ideas that originate in the studio and transforms them into a form of personal expression.

When fashion ceases to be a job and becomes an identity
From its beginnings, Pucheta Paz developed a highly recognizable language within Argentine fashion. The intervened tailoring, oversized volumes, sheer fabrics, artisanal workmanship, and an exploration of the body built an identity that is now unmistakable.

However, that same language began to reflect in the figure of Fabián Paz.
His public appearances speak the same language as his collections. Garments with monumental shoulders, sheer shirts, embroidery that reveals the skin, and silhouettes pushed to the limit are part of an image that no longer clearly distinguishes the designer from his work.

ANATOMY, the collection that marked a turning point
That process found one of its clearest expressions in ANATOMY, a collection where the body ceased to be merely the canvas for clothing and became the starting point of design.

Articulations emphasized through cuts, strategic transparency, torsos rebuilt with embroidery, and new proportions proposed a reflection on the relationship between the garment and the person who wears it.

The collection not only redefined Pucheta Paz’s language. It also seemed to mark a new phase for Fabián, who began to appropriate that universe from a much more personal place.
Dressing Without Labels by Fabián Paz

One of the most interesting aspects of this transformation is the freedom with which Fabián interprets clothing.
He can start from a classic suit and immediately alter its proportions, incorporate transparency, or leave the torso exposed. Masculine and feminine stop functioning as opposing categories and become simply expressive resources.

Rather than chasing trends, his way of dressing seems to respond to a contemporary idea: building identity through clothing, without the need to explain or justify each choice.
The designer also communicates
For a long time, the spotlight rested exclusively on the collections. Today, designers also tell stories through their own image.

In Fabián Paz’s case, that personal construction does not aim to separate him from the brand, but to reinforce it. His way of dressing continually dialogues with the pieces he designs with Gustavo Pucheta, to the point that it becomes hard to tell where one ends and the other begins.

His image functions as a kind of visual manifesto for all that Pucheta Paz has been proposing for several seasons.
A new phase for Pucheta Paz

While the label is going through a period of consolidation and creative maturity, Fabián Paz also seems to be undergoing a personal evolution.

More visible, freer, and more connected to his own identity, the designer leaves behind the backstage-only role to become one of the leading interpreters of his creative universe.
