Justina Bustos surprised her community with an announcement related to a new facet of her life. The 37-year-old actress decided to explore the world of gastronomy and unveiled a venture she shares with her partner, Máximo Pardo.
Together they created Barrito Cantina, a brand specializing in empanadas that emerged with a clear proposition: to enjoy the process, have fun, and do things their own way.
Barrito Cantina, Justina’s New Venture
The project began in May of this year as an empanada delivery service. Over time, the venture gained recognition among the neighborhood residents, and its creators decided to take a new step: opening the doors to a cantina.
The space is located at Nicaragua 4618, in the Palermo area, and it opened a few days ago, where friends and family of the couple celebrated in the venue; among them, Justina could be seen posing with Lali Espósito. Beginning this Wednesday the 16th, the public will be able to enjoy the full menu at the restaurant.
The concept retains the essence that Justina and Máximo pursued from the start, but adds the experience of sharing the food in a space specially designed to welcome diners.
The space has a rustic and warm aesthetic, with exposed brick walls and different illuminated sections that give it its own identity.
Inside, tables with white tablecloths are laid out and there is also an open kitchen. The space also includes a section for musical performances, a feature that reinforces Barrito Cantina’s goal of becoming a gathering place.
The concept goes beyond enjoying the empanadas. The ambiance also seeks to create an experience around the food, whether to share with friends, gather with family, or simply sit down to eat.

Before becoming a cantina, Barrito operated exclusively via home delivery and takeout. During that initial phase, some well-known figures had the opportunity to try their empanadas.
Among them was Rosalía, who enjoyed the offering before the venture opened its doors as a restaurant.
The growth of the project led Justina and Máximo to transform that first delivery service into a dining space with a broader menu and its own identity.
Thus, Justina adds a new facet to her career and demonstrates that her link to the creative world can also move into other fields. This time, she found in gastronomy a way to embark on a venture with her partner and create a place designed to be shared.
