Buenos Aires fashion once again refocused attention on the new generations. With Fashion Revelations 2026, the City presented six emerging projects aiming to carve out their path in the industry through proposals that explore new ways of thinking about garments, accessories, and materials.
The initiative, driven by the Ministry of Economic Development of the City, aims to accompany new creators, generate growth opportunities, and give visibility to projects with a distinctive identity within the local fashion ecosystem.
On Monday, September 7, the Centro Cultural Recoleta became the runway for a show where the winners of this edition unveiled their collections for the first time, within the framework of Designers and Buenos Aires Is Fashionable.
Who Are the Winners of Fashion Revelations 2026
The call was divided into two categories: New Fashion Creators and Design of Accessories and Complements.
The projects were evaluated by a jury comprised of industry leaders, who selected six proposals for their creative perspective and development potential.
In the New Fashion Creators category, the winners were:
- Michelle Indra Calles, creator of EXUVIAL.
- Violeta Padilla, at the helm of VIOLETA PADILLA.
- Emilia Batkis, creator of LUCIDITY*.
Meanwhile, in the Accessory and Complement Design category, the selections were:
- Jesica Pullo, from BIOTICO.
- Guadalupe Benítez Machuca, from QONSUMO.
- Florencia Belén Leoni, from PURGATORYUM.
The six proposals arrived on the runway with unreleased collections that offer different takes on contemporary design and explore new possibilities in materials, construction, and identity.
A Platform to Propel the New Designers
The recognition does not end at the runway. As part of the program, the winners will gain access to international study scholarships at UAL or NABA, in addition to mentorships with industry leaders in fashion.
They will also receive textiles provided by Santista S.A., to be used in the development of prototypes and new pieces.
In this way, Fashion Revelations seeks to ensure that support for emerging talents extends beyond a mere showcase, becoming a practical tool to strengthen their projects and facilitate their professionalization.
Buenos Aires and a New Generation of Designers
Fashion Revelations is part of Buenos Aires Is Fashionable 2026, the platform that coordinates various public and private initiatives connected to the sector.
The goal is to strengthen the industry, stimulate local production and design, and position Buenos Aires as a reference space for creativity, innovation, and the emergence of new voices.
In this context, the 2026 edition once again demonstrated that behind Argentine fashion there exists a new generation of creators ready to experiment, build identity, and discover new ways of telling, through design, how the present is worn.
