The media and legal dispute between Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi added a new chapter this Saturday, September 5. During La noche de Mirtha, the show hosted this time by Juana Viale, new details about possible legal actions that the footballer could initiate against the businesswoman were revealed.
The program featured as guests Elba Marcovecchio and Ana Rosenfeld, lawyers for Icardi and Wanda respectively. Both presented their positions on the conflict and defended the stances of their clients. In the midst of the exchange, Montecarvochio made a forceful statement about the striker’s future.
According to the lawyer, Icardi would consider filing a lawsuit against Wanda for harming his sporting career. “When the travel ban was lifted, which happened on August 5, the other party, Mrs. Nara, with her attorney, Dr. Rosenfeld, appealed to that measure without any grounds, as the Chamber deemed,” she asserted.
According to Marcovecchio’s argument, the decision to appeal would have again prevented the footballer from leaving Argentina. For Icardi’s legal representative, this situation could have affected his ability to continue developing his professional career abroad.
“And that makes a player go from being available to not being the top choice for a team that needs a player. There is harm,” the lawyer elaborated during the program.
In this way, the footballer’s defense argued that travel restrictions could have affected his job opportunities and, consequently, his sporting career. For now, this is the publicly stated position of his legal representation and not a judicial condemnation against Wanda.
