Magui Bravi Talks About Postpartum Aftereffects and Changes After Birth

6 August 2026

In an interview with Pampita for Infobae, Magui Bravi opened her heart and spoke with complete honesty about one of the most transformative moments of her life: the postpartum period. The actress recalled how the recovery after the cesarean went, the difficulties she faced with breastfeeding, and the physical changes she experienced after becoming a mother.

The 38-year-old actress gave birth to Galileo on January 23, 2024, the product of her relationship with architect Octavio Cattaneo, from whom she separated in April this year after 15 years together.

During the chat, the actress acknowledged that she would have liked to receive more information about what going through a postpartum entails. “I didn’t know that a cesarean hurt so much. I didn’t know it was so difficult to breastfeed either,” she expressed.

Then she explained why she decided to share her experience: “I’m telling it also because it would have helped me if someone had told me that it would hurt, or that if I couldn’t breastfeed it would still be okay.” Pampita agreed with her reflection and emphasized: “If your body isn’t capable, you’re not less of a mother because of that.”

In that sense, Bravi acknowledged that listening to that kind of message would have allowed her to experience the early days of motherhood with less guilt. “I would have loved it if someone had told me from the start so I wouldn’t be fighting for that and wouldn’t have been able to fully enjoy his life,” she stated.
