There are brands that have the ability to transport you to another universe as soon as the show begins. That is exactly what Zimmermann achieved at the Paris Fashion Week, where it presented its Spring-Summer 2027 collection, an ode to contemporary romance, nature, and femininity in a constant state of transformation.
Under the name Kaleidoscope, the Australian label again proved why it is a favorite among those who love relaxed luxury, dreamy dresses and that bohemian vibe that, season after season, continues to reinvent itself.

A collection inspired by the beauty of butterflies

The inspiration arose during a visit by Nicky Zimmermann, the brand’s creative director, to the Australian Museum, where she discovered a historic collection of butterflies. Far from staying at the aesthetic beauty of these insects, the designer found in them a symbol of transformation, freedom, and strength.

That concept threads through the entire collection. Wings are reinterpreted in prints, appliqués, embroidery, and three-dimensional volumes that bring movement to dresses, skirts, and tops. Nothing is literal: everything invites you to imagine a woman who transforms without losing her essence.

El boho romántico vuelve a ser protagonista

Fluid silhouettes dominated the runway. Long dresses with sheer panels, billowy skirts, lightweight blouses, and coordinated ensembles build a feminine wardrobe that is elegant and very easy to imagine for both a special event and a seaside vacation.

The color palette also evokes a garden in full bloom. Butter-yellow, cream tones, soft greens, earth browns, and small coral accents bring warmth to a luminous collection, where every look seems to be bathed in the light of sunset.

Artesanía, encajes y detalles que elevan cada look
As is customary at Zimmermann, artisanal workmanship occupies a central place. Laces, embroidery, applied flowers, and delicate details turn each garment into an almost haute couture piece, while still maintaining the brand’s relaxed signature.

But the collection also finds balance with pieces of utilitarian spirit. Denim, more structured trousers, jackets, and accessories with a stronger presence provide contrast and make the proposal contemporary and perfectly adaptable to everyday life.

The show’s key pieces that will set trends
If anything was clear from the Paris runway, it is that boho chic continues to solidify as one of the season’s major trends. Romantic dresses, subtle sheerness, lace, flowers, ruffles, and lightweight fabrics return to occupy a central place in the wardrobe, now paired with pieces inspired by utility that bring modernity.

With Kaleidoscope, Zimmermann proposes a delicate, luminous, and sophisticated fashion where nature not only inspires the prints but also a new way of understanding femininity: free, powerful, and deeply elegant.
