The death of Eduardo Groh Riemersma, known as “El Polaco”, sparked a wave of messages of grief among the people who knew him and had supported his years of work in animal protection. Among them was Liz Solari, an actress, model, and renowned activist for animal rights, who bid him farewell with a heartfelt message on her social networks.
“Yesterday El Polaco left us because of a road accident,” Solari began in a post accompanied by a series of images. She then focused on the protector’s work carried out for almost two decades.
“A man who has given shelter, love, hope and a new life to more than 800 dogs along his path,” the actress emphasized, describing Riemersma as “a kind person who worked daily to change the lives of hundreds of animals.”
