The fashion insiders of the northern hemisphere have already started signaling it. On white shirts, slip dresses, linen garments, and basic tees, an accessory that had been pushed into the background for several seasons emerges: the long necklace.
Far from the bohemian and heavily layered aesthetic often associated with it, its return offers a much more minimalist interpretation. The idea is no longer about stacking multiple necklaces or layering chains around the neck, but about letting a single piece take center stage in the look.
From layering to a single piece: the season’s big shift
In recent years, jewelry has revolved around the neck. Stiff chokers, short chains, and multi-piece compositions dominated both the runways and street style.

Lastly, the bolo tie resurfaces, inspired by the classic Western corded tie. In its current version it presents a much cleaner design: a fine cord, a regulable central piece and long ends finished with small beads.
Shells and marine details, another summer nod
Sea-inspired motifs remain present, though this time they adopt a much larger scale. Nacre, shells, and spiral shapes appear suspended from chains and long cords, becoming the absolute center of the look.
Although they inevitably evoke holidays, they also find space in urban styling when paired with linen garments, neutral shirts, or dresses with simple lines. That contrast is precisely what makes these pieces much more versatile again.
