The Unexpected Problem Jimena Barón Faced During a Road Trip
Jimena was traveling with Matías Palleiro, who was at the wheel, while she sat in the front passenger seat. In the back of the vehicle were her two children, Morrison and Arturo.
Everything was proceeding normally until a strong storm surprised the family on the highway. The concern arose when the singer remembered a detail about the vehicle they had rented: the van had an open cargo area, so all the suitcases were completely exposed to the rain.
“Luckily they lent us the van without a top and all the fabric suitcases were left in the cargo area, soaking wet,” she wrote ironically along with a video showing the soaked luggage.
Jimena continued sharing the minute-by-minute of the trip. At first she said the rain had stopped and that the sun began to dry part of the luggage. However, while filming the landscape, she noticed a huge dark cloud approaching on the horizon. Minutes later, the storm returned and the suitcases got wet again.
Eventually, the weather changed again and the sun reappeared, which unleashed laughter, music, and dancing inside the van as they continued the journey toward Atlanta.
With her spontaneous and relaxed style, the singer even joked about possibly having to attend the match “half-naked” if the clothes didn’t dry in time.
