Through his Instagram account, the defender posted an extensive message in which he spoke about the pain of not having been able to lift the World Cup, highlighted the collective effort, and left a line that did not go unnoticed: “The fall of the great is the happiness of the mediocre”.
At the start of his post, Licha acknowledged the sadness he feels about the result, though he made it clear that the pride of representing Argentina remains intact.
