Fashion is beginning to anticipate how we will dress next summer, and a few keys are already taking shape: natural materials, versatile garments, and an elegance that prioritizes comfort. In that scenario, Armesto presented Travesía, her summer 2027 collection, with a show held at her Palermo Soho space.
Inspired by travel and the discovery of new destinations, the designer Mirta Armesto‘s proposal explores a way of dressing that accompanies different moments of the day. The collection brings together pieces with relaxed lines, texture blends, and a contemporary aesthetic that seeks to balance sophistication and naturalness.
The textures and colors that star this season
Linen is one of the major protagonists of the collection. Its freshness and lightness make it a material especially associated with summer, while denim brings a more urban imprint.
Joining them are silk and lace, which introduce delicacy and allow for building looks with different levels of formality. The tailoring with broad cuts and the layering complete a proposal in which everyday garments coexist with more elegant options.
In terms of color, the season proposes a balance between calm and intensity. The beige, golden beige and cream tones build a neutral and luminous base, while brick red, mint green, bright blue and orchid introduce color accents. A combination that allows playing with contrasts and refreshing the summer wardrobe staples.
The show also brought together several personalities from the fashion and entertainment world… Nicole Neumann, Sofía Zámolo, Carina Zampini and Alejandra Maglietti were among the figures present at the event, which allowed a close look at the proposals for the new season.
Beyond individual garments, Travesía reflects an idea that gains space in fashion proposals: to build an adaptable wardrobe, with pieces that can be combined in different ways.
