Invited to PH, Podemos Hablar, Sofi Martínez spoke about the bond she currently maintains with Diego Leuco, with whom she had an relationship of about two years and separated at the end of 2023.
In the past few weeks, the reunion of both on La Peña de Morfi had generated various speculations about a possible reconciliation. Sofi led the Telefe program alongside Diego, and during the broadcast they exchanged looks, jokes and an intimate ping-pong that once again brought attention to the history they had.
In that context, during her visit to PH the sports journalist was directly asked whether she had gotten back together with Leuco.
“Our relationship with Diego is very long, to tell the truth. We went through many stages in the bond. I believe that every time we separate, perhaps you don’t have a very specific reason, and when there is so much love involved, it’s hard to fully part ways. And that happened to us,” she confessed.

In response to Andy Kusnetzoff’s question about a possible reconciliation, Sofi was decisive and denied that they were back together as a couple.
“No, no. What happens is that we get along very well, share space and we can talk about what happened with humor and with affection,” she explained.
The journalist also referred to the particular relationship they built after the separation. While they maintain a close bond and can share work spaces, she clarified that it’s not a conventional friendship either.
Flavio Azzaro pointed out that these kinds of conversations between exes are usually a sign that the romantic relationship is over. However, Sofi again set the boundaries of her bond with Diego. “We are neither friends nor cousins,” she replied with humor.
