Santiago del Moro closed an intense chapter at the helm of Gran Hermano Generación Dorada and decided to mark the start of a new phase with a change of look. After seven months on air, the host surprised everyone by appearing completely shaved in a photo he shared on his social networks.
Facing the mirror, wearing a black T-shirt and a freshly shaved head, Del Moro left behind the hairstyle he wore throughout the entire season of the reality show and opted for a much more stripped-down image. A simple change, but one that completely alters his appearance.
Alongside the photo, he also wrote a line that revealed the reason behind his transformation: “Shaved to the max, vacations are coming.”

A shaved head is one of those image changes capable of quickly transforming a look without needing to add anything else. In Del Moro’s case, the new cut leaves the face completely bare and creates a fresher, more relaxed image, in line with the moment he is going through after the show’s finale.
In recent months, the host had maintained a more traditional image, with short hair but more volume on the top. Now, however, he chose to keep it to the minimum and shared the result spontaneously, from his home and in front of a mirror.
The choice also doesn’t seem accidental. Del Moro himself linked the change directly to the start of his vacation, as if the shaved look also served as a way to leave behind the intense pace he had during the television season.
A Break After Seven Months on Screen
The host wrapped up an extensive season at the helm of Gran Hermano Generación Dorada, where he oversaw the gala episodes and the daily broadcasts of Telefe’s reality show.
After the finale, which crowned Sol Abraham as the winner, Del Moro decided to take a few days off. According to what he had explained, his daughters had also asked him to take vacations after the effort involved in steering the cycle for seven months.
Although he will step away from the screen for a while, he will continue with his radio activity on El club del Moro, on La 100. Thus, the change will be primarily televisual: he will have a more relaxed schedule while enjoying a few days with his family.
What Comes After Gran Hermano?
The end of the reality show also opened questions about the host’s next television project. With Gran Hermano off the air for a while, rumors began circulating about possible new formats for Del Moro within Telefe.
One of the names that surfaced was Got Talent Argentina, although the host has not officially confirmed his involvement. For now, then, his next television project remains open, as he chose to start this pause with a striking change of image and a well-deserved rest.
