But this time her role was completely different: she did not come back to compete for a crown, but as one of the members of the jury tasked with selecting the new national representative.
Pampita herself recalled her bond with the celebration and spoke about how special it was to return to Jujuy after so many years. “Thirty-two years have passed, but to me it felt like yesterday,” she stated.
Her return closed a very particular circle: that teenager who received the crown in 1994 returned decades later, now a celebrated figure in fashion and show business, this time seated among those entrusted with choosing the new queen.
The Selection of the National Queen of the Students
The selection took place at the Estadio 23 de Agosto, within the framework of the 75th edition of the Fiesta Nacional de los Estudiantes. The Jujuyan celebration gathers student representatives from different points of the country each year and is one of the province’s most important traditions.
In this edition, the crown went to Constanza Lastra Errasti, representing Santiago del Estero, who was chosen as the new National Representative of the Students 2026.
Thus, the night featured two protagonists at different moments of one story: a new generation beginning its journey as the national representative and Pampita, who returned to the place where it all began for her in 1994.
And she did so faithful to her bond with fashion: wearing a black haute couture dress, sequined fringes, and an asymmetric silhouette that turned her return to Jujuy into a true night of glamour.
