Mica Viciconte often shares intimate details of her life with her digital community. From renovations of her home to the everyday bond with her family, the presenter maintains an open and genuine channel with her followers. On this occasion, the model opened the doors to her heart to address one of the most challenging and transformative facets of her life: parenting her son Luca.
Invited to the program Criemos libres, a space designed to discuss health, care, and the concerns that families face without taboos, Mica reflected on what it means to be a mother.
The presenter welcomed her first child in May 2022, the result of her relationship with former footballer Fabián Cubero, and from the very start she set clear boundaries and raised her little one in a structured way.
The daily challenge of upholding boundaries
Despite her firm beliefs, Mica confessed with laughter and emotion that theory often meets the everyday tenderness of a growing child.
“Boundaries are love to me. Obviously it costs me an arm and a leg, because sometimes you’re dealing with a four-year-old you love, and sometimes you think: ‘Oh my God!’”, she stated honestly.
In this way, the panelist explained how the innocence and sweetness of the little one manage to disarm even the stiffest stance. “And he looks at you and ends up buying you, you know? One day I was really tearing into him and he looks at me straight and says: ‘I love you’. And well, it destroyed me,” she recalled about that unexpected gesture that made any challenge fade away.
Beyond the funny anecdotes and the moments when sweetness wins, Mica made it clear that she maintains a deep commitment to Luca’s upbringing, prioritizing respect and good manners.
“I feel like I set a lot of boundaries. In fact, the other day he answered me ‘What a romperquinoto’ and told me it was his dad who said it,” she shared about the expressions the child absorbs from his surroundings. “Mine answers you back… he doesn’t care about anything,” she added with a wink about the determined personality Luca is developing.
