Mica Lapegüe’s Living Room Makeover: A Warm, Modern Space to Welcome Her First Daughter

11 July 2026

Mica Lapegüe is going through one of the happiest moments of her life. While enjoying her professional success on stage and awaiting the arrival of her first daughter with Tomás Bartolomé, the actress is also moving forward with the renovation of her home. Through her social media, she showed how the new living room turned out, a space where contemporary design, warmth, and functionality prevail.

Although she clarified that there are still some decorative details to be finalized, the daughter of journalist Diego Lapegüe confessed to being very excited about the remodeling result and shared pictures of the space with her followers.

An integrated, bright, and functional living room

The space brings together the dining area and the living room in a single open plan, designed to make the most of the house’s spaciousness and achieve comfortable circulation.

For the décor, the couple chose a neutral color palette dominated by wood, white, black, charcoal gray, and taupe tones, a combination that conveys harmony and adds a sense of calm.

The walls and the ceiling are white, while small black recessed ceiling lights add a modern touch. Additionally, large glass sliding doors connect the interior to the garden, allowing abundant natural light to enter during the day. For evenings or moments requiring more privacy, black blackout curtains were installed.

Para la decoración, la pareja eligió una paleta de colores neutros en la que predominan la madera, el blanco, el negro, el gris topo y los tonos suela, una combinación que transmite armonía y aporta una sensación de calma.

Minimalist furniture and warm décor

In the living area, Mica added an indoor plant that brings freshness and breaks up the neutrality of the palette. Beside it stands a large gray sofa accompanied by bone-colored cushions and a round black coffee table, pieces that balance modernity and comfort.

At one end of the space she also added a floor lamp in a shade similar to the sofa upholstery, ideal for creating warm lighting at night.

A dining area designed for family gatherings

The dining area is defined by a large rectangular wooden table surrounded by eight chairs, some entirely wooden and others upholstered in gray, a combination that adds dynamism without losing aesthetic coherence.

Nevertheless, Mica acknowledged that she is still looking to give the final touch to that sector. “I’m thrilled. It needs a deco piece there, right? In the middle of the table, what would you put? And also a hanging lamp… but I don’t know which would look good,” she wrote alongside the photos, inviting her followers to share their opinions.

The floor, in a lighter wood tone, completes the look and adds a warm touch that harmonizes with the rest of the furnishings.

With this remodel, Mica Lapegüe and Tomás Bartolomé created a modern, bright, and welcoming home, ready to begin a new chapter with the arrival of their first daughter.
