Messi’s National Team Retirement: Antonela Roccuzzo Shares One of Her Biggest Passions on Social Media

9 September 2026

Following the buzz around Lionel Messi’s future, Antonela Roccuzzo resurfaced on her social networks with a carousel of images that captured moments from her daily life.

The footballer’s wife displayed various snapshots of days marked by well-being, moments of calm, and time devoted to herself. Among the photographs, she also revealed one of her favorite hobbies: reading.

In one of the first images, Antonela showed how to wear a relaxed look without sacrificing style. For the occasion, she chose beige dress pants with black stripes along the sides, a black top, and a handbag in the same shade.

Para la ocasión, eligió un pantalón de vestir beige con rayas negras en los laterales, un top negro y una cartera del mismo tono.

However, it was her readings that drew the most attention. On a table, accompanied by three individual portraits of her children, Ciro, Mateo, and Thiago, appeared several books and a Bible.

The Books That Accompany Antonela Roccuzzo

On other occasions, Antonela had already shown her fondness for reading and especially for stories of young adult romance, fantasy, and sport. Among her previous choices are series such as Harry Potter, of which she has also shown herself to be a fan.

This time, however, the entrepreneur chose a varied selection, with stories that blend romance, drama, and fantasy. On the table could be seen The Deal (Forbidden to Fall in Love), by Elle Kennedy; Heartbreak, by Colleen Hoover; The Cruel Prince, by Holly Black; and a Bible.

The presence of the religious book also contributed a spiritual facet to the scene and complemented the more intimate image Antonela chose to share with her followers.

From a University Romance to a World of Fairies

The first book in the selection is The Deal, the beginning of the Kiss Me saga. The story follows Hannah Wells, a university student who wants to catch the eye of the guy she likes, though her insecurities prevent her from doing so.

In parallel appears Garrett Graham, the popular and arrogant captain of the university hockey team. His athletic future is at risk because he needs to pass a Philosophy course. Facing their respective difficulties, they strike a deal to help each other, though the bond between them soon begins to take a different direction.

The second choice was Heartbreak, by Colleen Hoover, a novel that follows the life of Merit Voss, a teenage girl navigating personal conflicts, family secrets, and an unconventional home dynamic. In this way, Antonela also moves toward a fiction woven with more complex and emotional themes.

With the third title, however, she again dives headlong into fantasy. The Cruel Prince, by Holly Black, introduces Jude Duarte, a human girl who tries to survive and gain power in the dangerous world of the fairies.

Thus, Antonela once again shared with her community one of her great passions and revealed a selection of readings that reflects her varied interests. Between romances, dramas, and fantastic worlds, reading again occupies a special place in her days.
