Argentine music is enjoying a historic night with the inaugural Martín Fierro de la Música 2026, a gala that brings together the country’s most prominent figures on the national scene and promises a red carpet packed with glamour, personality, and fashion bets. From Tango Porteño, in Buenos Aires City, established artists and new talents gather to celebrate the talent and the great hits of the music industry.
Among the night’s protagonists are Maria Becerra, the most-nominated artist with seven nominations, followed by Lali Espósito, with six, and Tini Stoessel, with five. The three compete in core categories such as Best Female Artist and Best Pop Artist, in a ceremony that also recognizes songs, albums, collaborations, live shows and trailblazers across genres, from pop and rock to urban music, folklore, tango and cuarteto.

The gala is hosted by Edith Hermida and Hernán Drago, while Nara Ferragut, Daniel Gómez Rinaldi, El Polaco and Rocío Marengo greeted the guests during the pre-show. Moreover, music will take center stage with live performances by Bandana, Emanero, Eugenia Quevedo, Ráfaga, Ángela Leiva and Los Palmeras.

As in any grand celebration of spectacle, fashion also takes the spotlight as one of the main protagonists. The looks chosen for the red carpet reflect styles, trends, and personalities, with proposals ranging from timeless elegance to the boldest designs.
