1 September 2026

Luisana Lopilato once again found herself at the center of attention during the premiere of Pepita la Pistolera, the new film in which she stars and which is inspired by the real case of a woman who became known after shooting and killing three criminals who had broken into her home.

In that frame, the actress spoke about her life between Argentina and Canada, the country where she lives with her husband, Michael Bublé, and their four children. At 39, Luisana maintains a very close connection to her homeland and continues to back projects tied to Argentine cinema, although for now she rules out settling there permanently.

During a chat with Bondi Live, the actress explained the reasons why she chose to keep living in Canada and revealed the main factor that would condition an eventual family move to Argentina.

I love working in my country; I also think it’s an excuse to come, to spend time… to be with those I love most,” she said, referring to her loved ones who still live in the country where she grew up.

Asked about the possibility of returning permanently, Luisana was blunt: “Well, no. My kids are still young and they are in school, so no. For the moment, I see it as very distant.”

In this way, the actress made clear that her children’s schooling is today one of the main reasons she does not consider moving back to Argentina to live with her family.

However, that does not mean she has distanced herself from her country. On the contrary, she insisted that she continues to want to work there.

But yes, to go back to work, to bet on Argentina, to bet on Argentine cinema, to keep seeking stories to be able to produce and keep moving forward,” she maintained.

Luisana Lopilato’s Condition to Return to Erreway

During the interview, one of the topics that excites Erreway fans the most also came up. After the interviewer told her that Felipe Colombo and Benjamín Rojas want her to rejoin the shows, Luisana answered with humor and proposed a peculiar condition.

“Let them come to Vancouver, to Canada,” she said with a laugh. Beyond the joke, the actress explained that she currently has a very demanding work schedule and that her family responsibilities also weigh in when organizing trips.

“Right now I have a lot of work, and I’m very focused on my kids as well. Sometimes it’s hard to be apart for everywhere. My kids are in school, so sometimes it’s hard to take them along,” she explained.
