The Para Ti Gala, marking its 104th year, was the perfect occasion to celebrate Argentine fashion and the talent of its designers. In the imposing Basavilbaso Palace, Camila Romano presented a delicate and sophisticated creation, conceived especially for a night as special as this.
The designer chose an off-white palette, with a romantic and ethereal vibe that derives its strength from the contrast between the delicacy of the materials and the volume of the silhouette.
The person entrusted with wearing this design was top model Agos Barbagelata, who became the protagonist of a proposal that seems to have stepped out of a contemporary fairy tale.

Camila Romano’s Design: Chantilly Lace and Hand Embroidery

The dress opens with a high-neck bodice and a pronounced armhole, crafted in Chantilly lace, one of haute couture’s most delicate fabrics.

The piece was hand-embroidered and finished with sheer elements, creating a subtle effect on the skin and adding texture without sacrificing the garment’s lightness.

The result is feminine, elegant, and deeply romantic, with artisanal craftsmanship that turns the top into a true collectible piece.
A Sculptural Skirt That Echoes Nature

The skirt, crafted in ivory silk taffeta, completely shifts the dress’s dynamic.

Low rise with a sculptural volume on the side, the piece was designed to recreate nature’s organic movement. The volume unfurls along one side, creating a dramatic yet fluid silhouette.
The silk taffeta provides structure and ensures that each movement carries its own presence.
The Train That Adds Drama to the Look
The design is completed with a long, flowing train that extends the silhouette and amplifies its gala-ready character.

Rather than overloading the gown, the train follows the skirt’s side volume and adds drama to a concept that blends romance, delicacy, and a strong sculptural mark.
In an off-white tone, every detail was conceived to build an ethereal image: from the hand-embroidered lace to the silk taffeta and the nature-inspired shapes.
A Camila Romano creation that found in the Para Ti Gala the perfect stage to unfold all its delicacy.
