Fiona Lowe, the daughter of actor Chad Lowe and producer Kim Painter, and niece of Rob Lowe, died at the age of 13. Her family confirmed the news on Tuesday, September 29, via a statement released by People magazine.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear Fiona,” her loved ones expressed.

In the message, Chad and Kim remembered their daughter as “a loving, intelligent, creative young woman who loved to dance”.
They also spoke of the role she occupied within the family: of her parents’ love and her sisters’ adoration. “In fact, she was the light of our lives,” they wrote.

Fiona was born on November 16, 2012 and she was the second of the couple’s three daughters. She grew up alongside Mabel and Nixie.
Last November, Chad had shared on Instagram a photo to celebrate her turning 13. The message carried the joy of a father who saw his daughter start a new chapter.
“Today we celebrate that Fiona is officially entering adolescence,” he wrote then. And he accompanied the greeting with a line that recalled one of her passions: “Keep dancing through life, FiBear! I love you very much!”.
