Fashion and Tourism at La Rural: The Gala That Brought Together Jorge Rey, Benito Fernández, and Verónica de la Canal

1 October 2026

Fashion had its place at the opening of the 30th International Tourism Fair (FIT). On Saturday, September 26, a large tent set up on the central runway of La Rural welcomed more than 1,800 people to celebrate the seventh edition of Argentina Fashion and Travel, a gala that once again connected design with Argentina’s destinations.

With Susana Clur in charge of direction and overall production, and hosted by journalist Nara Ferragut and Ulises Apóstolo, the runway showcased haute couture, lingerie, menswear, children’s wear, and accessories. A diversity that was also reflected in the participation of designers from different provinces and in the debut of a brand with Korean roots.
