It all began on an ordinary evening. Fabiana had just finished her appearance on Susana Roccasalvo’s show, and upon returning home, she decided to go out for a solo dinner at a nearby restaurant.
She ordered one of the place’s specialties: a burrata.
While she was enjoying her meal, a man rose from his table, approached, and asked a question Fabiana still recalls: “Is this the best burrata in the county or in the country?”
He had ordered the same dish. There were smiles, a brief exchange, and nothing more. Each went on with their evening, and that encounter seemed to end there.
But a few months later fate crossed their paths again. This time through Instagram. Fabiana saw a post, recognized that face, and discovered something else: Marcelo was already following her on the social network.
“There I recognized him by the photo. Ahhhhh! I realized that he was following me”, recalls the journalist. They began writing to each other. The conversation quickly moved from Instagram to WhatsApp and the connection was immediate.
“We talked and talked a lot and he invited me to eat”, says Fabiana. That dinner became the true first date.
When Marcelo accompanied her to her home, a spontaneous hug ended up confirming something that both were starting to feel. Since then, they have not been apart.
The Marriage Proposal Under the Full Moon
With time, the relationship grew and found one of its most romantic moments during a trip to the Caribbean.
There, under the February full moon and in a setting that’s hard to forget, Marcelo proposed to her. Fabiana said yes.
