Diego “el Peque” Schwartzman y Eugenia de Martino announced that they are expecting their first child through a joint post on their social media. The couple shared a series of photos showing them happy and in love, with the model’s baby bump taking center stage, and accompanied the images with a message filled with emotion about the dream of starting a family.
“Half yours, half mine, and the family we’ve dreamed of so many times. We’re going to be parents!”, they wrote at the start of the post, in which they also revealed that they still can’t believe this incredibly important moment in their lives has been captured alongside their family.
The news had been disclosed a little earlier by Pepe Ochoa on LAM. The panelist explained that Eugenia is in the fourth month of pregnancy and noted that he had known the information for some time, but had respected the couple’s timing until receiving their authorization to make it public.

In the joint post, Eugenia dedicated very special words to the former tennis star and expressed the happiness she feels imagining him in his new role as a father.
“Of all the things I imagined for my life, starting a family with you has always been my dream,” she wrote. And she added: “Seeing you become a father and imagining all that awaits us makes me incredibly happy; you can’t imagine how much I love you and how wonderful it is to know that our baby girl will have you as a dad because I have no doubt you’ll be the best in the world.”
The message closed with a line that sums up their joy at this new chapter: “The best in the world awaits us!”.
