For years, Scandinavian fashion was associated with minimalism, clean lines, and a neutral color palette. However, that image is behind us. In the Spring-Summer 2027 edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week — from August 3 to 7 — the streets and runways presented a much freer proposition, where contrasts took center stage.
In its 20th anniversary, the Danish fashion week reaffirmed its status as one of the events with the greatest influence on the international calendar. There, luxury dialogued with practicality, street style returned to serve as a source of inspiration, and the collections leaned toward fashion that blends creativity, identity, and a contemporary approach to dressing.
Lace and Sheer Fabrics: Contrast as the Protagonist
One of the elements most frequently seen during the week was the combination of lace garments and sheer fabrics with pieces that featured more structured lines or utilitarian inspiration.
