This Saturday, September 5, Carmen Barbieri was invited to PH, Podemos hablar, Telefe’s show hosted by Andy Kusnetzoff. During the broadcast, the actress and vedette revisited various moments of her life and career, from her relationship with Santiago Bal, her ex-husband, to anecdotes from her career and family memories.
In that context, she also spoke about Jorge Porcel, with whom she had a four-year relationship and even lived together for two. The actress also referred to the controversy sparked by the portrayal of the comedian in the series about Moria Casán, where he was depicted as a groper with inappropriate behavior toward women.

Porcel, an Argentine actor, comedian and singer, built an extensive career in show business and starred in memorable films alongside Alberto Olmedo. Throughout his career he also worked with figures such as Susana Giménez and Moria.
Porcel’s portrayal in Moria’s bioseries sparked questions and also a claim by Jorge Porcel Jr., who, according to reports, is considering taking legal action for the unauthorized use of his father’s image and name.
What Carmen Barbieri Said About Her Relationship with Jorge Porcel
When addressing the controversy, Carmen Barbieri recalled her connection with the humorist, who died in 2006, and spoke from her own experience. The artist began her relationship at 21, Porcel being 20 years her senior.
“I was Porcel’s partner for four years. I lived with him for two years. And I found out about all the negative things people say about him from these very people,” she explained during the show.
The actress stated that, while she was in a relationship with Porcel, she never witnessed situations like those described in the series. “I never heard even a scandal or anything that would have been directed at a woman in the theater or in the dressing rooms because Porcel overstepped,” she said.
However, Carmen clarified that her statements were based solely on what she had lived with the humorist and she avoided presenting herself as a defender of his image. “I’m not defending him, but I don’t think it’s fair to attack him when he’s not here to defend himself,” she stated.
