Argentine haute couture lived a special night with the first BLOSSOM runway show, the label created by Mariela Szuldiner, which presented its collection Time to Bloom within Casa FOA.
After nearly 14 years of activity, the brand took a significant step in its history and brought to the runway a proposal that brought together all its universes: party dresses, tailoring, designs for girls, and a delicate bridal collection.
With a romantic yet contemporary aesthetic, BLOSSOM leaned into volume, sheer fabrics, corsetry, and noble textiles, reaffirming the value of artisanal craftsmanship.
BLOSSOM: a couture collection that celebrates femininity
Under the concept Time to Bloom, the designer presented a collection inspired by the different stages of a woman’s life.

“Many of the pieces were created especially for this show. We wanted to celebrate the bond between the different generations that traverse BLOSSOM’s history,” explained Mariela Szuldiner.

The collection reflected the evolution of a brand that began by designing dresses for girls and, over time, expanded its universe to include party wear, tailoring, and wedding gowns.

“We started by making dresses for girls, but as time went on we grew and felt the need to broaden our proposal,” recalled its creator.
Volume, Corsetry, and Transparencies: the Keys to BLOSSOM’s Show

Across 30 looks, the label unveiled a collection in which every detail played a fundamental role.
Natural silk georgette, lace, sequins, and delicate fabrics were the protagonists of a proposal that blended romance with a modern edge.

The party dresses opened the show with a sophisticated palette of nude, pink, metallic tones, and black.
The silhouettes stood out for their organic lines, ruching, fringing, and the voluminous shapes that added movement and drama to each design.

Corsetry, one of haute couture’s principal resources, helped define the figures and create feminine silhouettes, while the transparencies added a sensual yet delicate touch.

Another highlight was the menswear-inspired tailoring, which brought structure and a contemporary contrast to the fluidity of the dresses.

“We work with unique designs, with fashion houses specialized in haute couture, and with noble fabrics that we choose very exhaustively,” Szuldiner emphasized.
From Party Dresses to Wedding Gowns: BLOSSOM’s Romantic Universe
One of the most interesting aspects of the show was BLOSSOM’s ability to weave together different life moments on a single runway.

From the children’s dresses that marked the brand’s inception to party creations and bridal designs, each proposal formed part of a narrative about growth, transformation, and feminine identity.
The bridal collection brought an particularly emotional imprint, with artisanal work and the delicacy of the materials taking center stage.

A celebration of fashion understood not only as an aesthetic expression but also as a way of accompanying life’s most important moments.

Among the guests were Sofía Gala, Justina Bustos, Sabrina Garciarena, Mona Gallosi, Elizabeth Márquez and Helena Otamendi, who accompanied Mariela Szuldiner in this significant presentation for the brand.

With Time to Bloom, BLOSSOM opened a new chapter in its history and reaffirmed its place within Argentine haute couture, presenting a proposal that values crafts, creativity, and the beauty of handmade garments.
