Eight months after Dante’s birth—the son of Chino Darín and Úrsula Corberó—Ricardo Darín once again moved many with his words. In an interview with Catalina Dlugi for Agarrate Catalina, the La Once Diez program, the 69-year-old actor spoke about his new chapter as a grandfather, the emotions the little one awakens in him, and how he supports his growth despite the distance.
The chat unfolded in a relaxed mood, and the actor said that while talking with the journalist, his grandson was nearby. “Lo tengo acá al lado de donde estoy yo. Está dormido”, revealed.
Asked by Dlugi about what it feels like to hold him in his arms, Darín expressed with tenderness the love that the whole family feels for the baby.
“I’m going crazy. We’re all crazy about him, because he is such a serene boy. You know that he wakes from his nap, looks you straight in the eye, and suddenly smiles. He melts you. We’re in love. We’re in the midst of a idyll,” he said.

Cómo construye Ricardo Darín su vínculo con Dante a la distancia
From his earliest months, Dante has been living in Barcelona, the city where his parents reside. The geographic distance represents a challenge for Ricardo and his wife, Florencia Bas, who strive to closely accompany their grandson’s growth whenever their commitments permit.
When asked how he imagines and maintains that bond, the star of Nine Queens explained that he tries to organize his trips to spend as much time as possible with the little one.
“It means you’ll travel as often as you can to stay close. Because it’s a stage of the children’s development that, if you miss it, you’ll regret it. And in this case the distance works a bit against us. But we are trying, within our means, within the schedule and our commitments, to be near so as not to miss him as little as possible,” he answered.
In this way, the actor made clear that both he and Florencia seek to take advantage of every opportunity to travel to Europe and be present in this important stage of Dante’s life.
La tierna imagen de Ricardo Darín con su nieto en brazos
During the interview, Catalina Dlugi also referred to a photograph showing Darín with his grandson in his arms. Recalling that moment, the actor again expressed his emotion.
“Tenerlo entre brazos, además con esa calma, con ese temperamento que tiene, la verdad que es un deleite,” he assured.

In the image, Ricardo appears wearing dark sunglasses and holds the little one close to his body while he looks at him intently.
A few weeks ago, Clara Darín, the actor’s daughter, had also shared a carousel of photographs in which her nephew appeared, whom she had visited recently.
The photos joined the handful of records that the family tends to share about Dante’s growth, since both Úrsula and the Chino Darín maintain a very reserved profile regarding their son’s private life.

Thus, the Darín Corberó family maintains a careful stance regarding exposing the baby on social media, while sharing small moments of this new family chapter.
