As part of the school ceremony for Cultural Diversity Day, Mirko was selected as the flag bearer. Yet, what moved Marley most was the reason for the honor: the school recognized students who stand out for empathy, respect for others, and their commitment to improving coexistence within the group.
“I am incredibly proud that Mirko was chosen, because having empathy and being a good friend matters more to me than good grades.”, he wrote alongside the images from that moment.
