Spring officially began, but this Tuesday, September 22, the thermometer seems to have stayed in winter.
In the City of Buenos Aires, the National Meteorological Service foresees a cold day, with a minimum of 6 degrees and a maximum of barely 13/14. The sky will be mostly to partly cloudy, with southwest wind for much of the day and no rainfall forecasted.
Rosario will also have a very cold morning and a maximum around 16/17 degrees, while Córdoba will reach approximately 19/20. In Salta a significant drop is expected compared to Monday, with a maximum near 14 degrees.
So today we do something very typical of the in-between season: we keep the coat, but change colors, silhouettes and combinations so that the look already has a spring spirit.
AMBA: jeans + light blue shirt + short trench coat
With a maximum of barely 13/14 degrees, today it isn’t enough to go out only with a shirt or blazer.
What to wear today
Choose a gray wide-leg tailored pants and pair it with a light blue shirt. Below, you can add a white cotton T-shirt for an extra layer without too much volume.
On top, pull out the short trench coat, one of the perfect coats for this transition.
It can be beige, olive green or navy blue.
On your feet, loafers with visible socks or retro sneakers.

Rosario will have a low near 5/6 degrees and a high around 17, with partly cloudy skies and no precipitation.

Choose a mid-blue wide-leg jeans and pair it with a long-sleeve knit polo.
On top, add a camel suede jacket or suede-effect jacket.
On the feet, urban sneakers.
The key to not feeling too wintery is in the palette: combine denim + camel + pale pink or denim + chocolate + light blue.
When the sun appears in the afternoon, you can wear the jacket open.
Centro: midi skirt + sweater + ankle boots
Córdoba will have a much milder day than Buenos Aires: the SMN forecasts around 6 degrees minimum and 19/20 maximum, with no rainfall.
What to wear today
Choose a midi pleated or satin skirt and pair it with a lightweight sweater.
Instead of black, try a chocolate + pink mix, gray + light blue or navy + cream.
On the feet, short-boot ankle boots.
During the morning you can add a lightweight jacket; when the temperature approaches 20 degrees, put it away.

NOA: straight-leg jeans + printed shirt + cardigan
In Salta city there will be a notable change from Monday. The forecast based on SMN data anticipates a dry day, but with a maximum of only around 14 degrees.
What to wear today
Choose a straight-leg jeans and a printed shirt.
It can be floral, geometric or striped: the print will take care of giving spring to the outfit.
On top, add a medium-knit cardigan.
On the feet, loafers or sneakers.
A combination that works especially well: blue jeans + floral shirt + cream cardigan.
It’s warm, but has a look that is completely different from what we wore in July.
Patagonia: waterproof pants + fleece + parka
In Patagonia there is no doubt: today practicality comes first.
The SMN maintains yellow alerts for rain in cordilleran sectors of Neuquén, Río Negro and Chubut and for snowfall in parts of the region. In Bariloche, for example, temperatures are expected to hover around 0 to 7 degrees, with drizzle and west winds at various times of the day.
What to wear today
Choose a thermal base layer, technical or waterproof pants, fleece, and a waterproof parka.
On the feet, boots with good tread.
Add thermal socks and, if you’ll stay outside for long, a beanie.
To move away from total black, bring color to the jacket or fabric: green, burgundy, cream or light blue.
