Sergio Lapegüe and Bochi Reveal Details of Mica’s Birth, Delfina’s Weight and Height

20 September 2026

After the excitement surrounding the birth of their first granddaughter, Sergio Lapegüe and Bochi spoke live about some details of the hours surrounding the arrival of Delfina, the daughter of Mica Lapegüe and Tomás Bartolomé. The grandparents spoke from Otamendi Sanatorium, where they were staying with the family, during a broadcast of True Secrets, the program hosted by Luis Ventura on América TV.

The wait had been particularly intense for them. According to what they shared, they were eager to meet their granddaughter and even had made a decision to try to manage the nerves: they asked Mica and Tomás not to inform them when the journey toward hospital admission would begin.

However, they finally received news on Saturday morning.

Mica began with induction and they ultimately had to perform a cesarean

Bochi explained that Mica and Tomás sent them a video from the hospital while the process to attempt a natural birth began.

They sent us a video to tell us that Mica was receiving IV fluids to induce labor and that since she wasn’t dilating, the doctor had decided to go for a cesarean,” the new grandmother recounted during the interview.

From that moment on, Sergio and Bochi started a long wait until they could meet Delfina. Finally, the baby was born by cesarean, and the family could share the first hours together at Otamendi.

How much Delfina weighed and measured

During the transmission, Sergio was the one who revealed some of the early details about the newborn: Delfina weighed 3.36 kilograms and measured 49 centimeters.

Bochi also found a particularity that excited her: her granddaughter had the same length as Mica when she was born.

The same as Mica when she was born,” she said about Delfina’s 49 centimeters.

And she quickly pointed to another physical detail of the baby: “I can see her feet and hands are big, because her father is tall; Mica is short, she is 1.60,” she joked.

How is Mica after the cesarean

Bochi also shared how her daughter is doing after the birth. According to her account, Mica is in pain from the cesarean, though she has the constant support of Tomás, whom the family calls Tommy.

Tommy is helping her with everything,” the grandmother said about these first hours of the couple as new parents.

Additionally, she highlighted that Mica had a very smooth pregnancy and was able to continue with her activities practically until the end. The young woman worked in theater until the very last moment, and, according to her mother, she endured the pregnancy without vomiting or nausea.

Now, after a wait that felt long for the whole family, Mica and Tomás begin a new chapter alongside Delfina, while Sergio and Bochi enjoy for the first time the role of grandparents.
