Dolores Fonzi returned to the San Sebastián Festival red carpet, and she did so with a tailoring look whose texture was one of its defining elements. The actress and director arrived at the Spanish festival to present Mis muertos tristes, Pablo Larraín’s new miniseries based on the stories of Mariana Enriquez, which is part of the Official Selection.
For this first appearance on the red carpet, Dolores chose a jacket-and-trouser set with a textured print that added dimension and movement to the look. Far from the more traditional gala outfits, the choice focused on the silhouette construction and the tailoring details.

The jacket was one of the central pieces of the outfit. With pronounced shoulders, it reinforced the structure of the ensemble and gave her a defined silhouette. In addition, the metallic buttons served as small points of contrast against the textured print.
Dolores completed the suit with a shirt featuring ruffle details, a feature that introduced a more delicate and feminine touch beneath the jacket’s structure.

On her feet she chose black buckled shoes, which finished giving the look a more urban and relaxed imprint. The combination of tailoring, the shirt’s frills, and the footwear provided a balance between sophistication and a casual vibe.

The actress and director arrived in San Sebastián to accompany the presentation of Mis muertos tristes, a production directed by Pablo Larraín and starring Mercedes Morán, Dolores Fonzi, Alejandra Flechner, and Carolina Álvarez.

The miniseries draws inspiration from various stories by Mariana Enriquez and centers on a woman who can see the dead. At the festival, the production is presented within the official competition.
For Dolores, moreover, this visit has a recent precedent: in 2025 she participated in the San Sebastián Festival as director and lead of Belén. This time she returned to the Spanish cinema gathering to present a new production and headline her first red carpet of this edition.
