Anita Espasandín again demonstrated that fashion can also be a playground for experimenting with textures, prints, and silhouettes. On this occasion, Benjamín Vicuña’s partner opted for an urban, eclectic look in which the pants took center stage.
The businesswoman chose an oxford denim pant that drew attention for its intricate design and the multitude of details it incorporates. The garment has a snug fit at the top and flares markedly from the knees downward, a classic feature of this type of trouser.
However, the model chosen by Anita departs from traditional versions. It is crafted from overlapping panels of denim, frayed finishes, and a layered effect that adds movement and volume to the silhouette.
One of the most striking details is the black laces located along the sides of the legs, running down much of the pant and creating an intriguing contrast with the blue of the denim. Added to this are black printed motifs toward the hem, a feature that reinforces the garment’s artistic and relaxed vibe.
A Mustard Jacket to Add Contrast
To complete the ensemble, Anita chose a short mustard-colored jacket, a warm hue that creates a strong contrast with the denim. The design features a loose silhouette and utilitarian-inspired details, such as oversized pockets and closures, lending it a casual, urban aesthetic.
Underneath she wore an open denim shirt coordinated with the trousers, with metallic details and small appliques. The choice added another texture to the styling and reinforced the layering play.
Layering garments serves as a layering concept, a technique that allows combining different lengths, materials, and volumes to create outfits with greater visual depth. In this case, denim appears in different versions and prevents the look from feeling flat.
Accessories That Elevated the Look
Accessories were also essential to complete the proposal. Anita added a large black handbag featuring a design of masculine hands holding lipsticks, a striking motif that breaks with the outfit’s predominant palette and adds an artistic element.
To this accessory, she added a small wallet bearing the classic Louis Vuitton monogram, which she carried perched on a skateboard. The pairing of two bags of different sizes and styles reinforces the look’s maximalist aesthetics and demonstrates the prominence accessories can command.
To finish, she chose brown sneakers, barely peeking out from beneath the pants’ wide hem.
The result was an urban, glamorous, and eclectic ensemble, where the modified denim coexists with layering, metallic details, a contrasting hue, and luxury accessories. A look that shows how the oxford pants can be updated and become the boldest piece of an outfit.
