Maia Reficco returned to Argentina amid rumors of a reconciliation with Franco Colapinto. The actress and the driver had begun dating at the start of 2026, following an exchange on social media and a photo that the racer had shared. However, public confirmation of their romance arrived only toward the end of April.
The relationship reportedly came to an end at the end of July, after roughly six months. The news was at the time broadcast on LAM (America), where it was mentioned that geographic distance, the demands of Formula 1, and a personal crisis the driver was going through may have influenced the breakup. Additionally, it was revealed that the separation had occurred through a phone call.
However, the drift apart did not appear to be definitive. At the end of August 2026, Maia Reficco and Franco Colapinto were photographed walking arm in arm through the streets of Amsterdam, a image that reignited talk of a possible reconciliation.

While leaving with her brother, Joaquín Reficco, after attending a theater performance, Maia was approached by a journalist from Puro Show, who sought details about her relationship with the Argentine driver.
In response to the question about a possible reconciliation, the actress reacted with a smile and a hint of discomfort, but chose not to make any statements. At that moment, it was her brother who answered on her behalf.
“No, no. She doesn’t want to, she doesn’t feel like it,” explained Joaquín, while trying to spare Maia from having to respond about her private life.
While the actress’s brother took the opportunity to promote his own projects and recommend the play they had seen, the journalist persisted and directly asked Maia whether she would say anything about her relationship with Colapinto.
