There are days when stepping away from routine doesn’t necessarily require packing a suitcase. Sometimes all it takes is to walk through a doorway and, for a few hours, forget the buzz of Buenos Aires.
In the heart of Arroyo Street, one of Buenos Aires’ most picturesque spots, Casa Lucia offers Aura Break, a two-person wellness experience that blends spa, gastronomy, and relaxation in the historic Edificio Mihanovich.

And there’s something especially tempting about it: you don’t have to stay at the hotel to enjoy it.
Aura Break: a pause in the middle of Buenos Aires
The journey takes place at Aura Pampa Spa, Casa Lucia’s wellness space inspired by the vastness and serenity of the Argentine pampas. The experience begins with two 30-minute massages of your choice and continues with three hours of access to the heated pool and the sauna.

There is also a station of healthy snacks to accompany that moment when the phone—ideally—stops being the protagonist. After that comes one of the plan’s most interesting details: Gin & Tea, a tea-time to share that blends the classic tea ritual with a more contemporary offering.

It includes three pastry options, two varieties of sandwiches, infusions or cocktails, orange or grapefruit juice, sparkling wine, and mineral waters. Thus, what could be merely a spa afternoon becomes a small urban escape plan.

A hotel to discover Buenos Aires from a different angle
Casa Lucia opened its doors in 2024 inside the emblematic Edificio Mihanovich and revived part of the spirit of the historic Arroyo Street from a contemporary viewpoint. The boutique hotel offers 78 rooms and 64 suites and is part of The Meliá Collection.
But its offering goes beyond just overnight stays: it aims to become a hub from which to connect with the architecture, gastronomy, and porteño identity. Therefore, after the spa, the plan can even continue. Inside the hotel you’ll find Cantina Cucina Italiana, its restaurant, and Le Club Bacán, the bar where you can end the afternoon with a cocktail.
The extra detail to take advantage of during August

Bloom Ritual: a proposal to welcome spring
With the arrival of spring, Aura Pampa Spa adds Bloom Ritual, a plan designed to restore luminosity, hydration, and vitality to the skin. During September, it offers 2-for-1 on facial treatments, inviting you to share a moment of wellbeing and prepare the skin for the warmer days ahead.
The package includes three options: Aura de la Pampa, a hydration treatment (USD 60); Resplandor del Trigo, a non-extractive cleansing (USD 60); and Seda Pampeana, with Kobido massage (USD 80). The experience is available throughout the month, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A good excuse to gift—or to treat yourself—something that often ends up last on the to-do list: a few hours without hurry.

Bloom Ritual will be available throughout September at Aura Pampa Spa, inside Casa Lucia (Arroyo 841, Buenos Aires), with a 2-for-1 offer on facial treatments. An invitation to welcome spring with a shared ritual of wellbeing and skincare, in one of the city’s most special corners.
