There is something in nature that always keeps inspiring fashion: its colors, its shapes, and above all, its ability to transform. For its Spring-Summer 2027 collection, Carmen Steffens found that starting point in a flower deeply tied to Brazilian identity.
The international label presents “Flor de Cajú”, a proposal that draws inspiration from the flower that appears before the cashew fruit forms and makes it the starting point of a collection where color, movement, and sophistication coexist.
The showcase will take place this Friday, August 28 at 5:00 p.m. at Palacio San Miguel, as part of Argentina Fashion Week.
A Flower as a Symbol of Transformation

Choosing the cashew flower is not accidental. For Carmen Steffens, it represents that moment just before transformation, when something is about to become something else.
From there, the collection offers a gaze at a woman who evolves, discovers new facets, and finds in clothing a way to express her personality.

The tropical universe then appears reinterpreted from a more sophisticated and contemporary viewpoint.
Vibrant Colors and the Tropical Spirit
The palette draws from summer and the Brazilian landscape. The warm and vibrant tones coexist with natural nuances and appear both in monochrome looks and in high-contrast combinations.

The result is a luminous collection, designed to bring the tropical spirit to different moments and styles.

Fluid Silhouettes That Move with the Body
The garments work with fluid forms, strategic cutouts, and lines that follow the body, seeking a balance between lightness and structure.

The collection also invites experimenting with layering and varied ways of pairing the pieces, a feature that makes it versatile for different times of the day.

Textures Drawn from Nature
Another axis centers on textures. Three-dimensional surfaces, weaves, and varied finishes add depth to the garments and reinterpret organic elements through a more sophisticated language.

Texture thus serves as another way to bring nature closer to the clothing, without doing so in a literal manner.

Accessories Also Take Center Stage
Footwear and leather goods uphold one of Carmen Steffens’ enduring signatures.

The collection includes sandals and stilettos in various heel heights, with heels of exclusive design, as well as handbags that echo the colors and textures present in the garments.

They are accessories designed to complete the looks but also to have a distinct place within the proposal.
“Flor de Cajú,” a Collection for Expressing Oneself Freely

With this collection, Carmen Steffens channels a distinctly Brazilian reference into a contemporary and sophisticated offering.

The cashew flower becomes a metaphor for change and evolution, while color, textures, silhouettes, and accessories build a collection designed for a woman who moves freely among different styles and finds in fashion another way to show who she is.
