The organization recalled its founder and leader with words of great affection, choosing a phrase that sums up the legacy he left behind through his work: “Never doubt the seed you left in every corner of this world.”

Through its social channels, El Montecito de los Canichones expressed their sorrow at the departure of the man who led the project for so many years.
“We are deeply saddened by this heartbreaking news,” begins the post published by the organization, which also noted that one of the last posts El Polaco shared had been posted shortly before his death.
Then, the shelter addressed its founder directly:
“May God keep him in heavenly glory. You will always be remembered in all our hearts, dear Polaco. Never doubt the seed you left in every corner of this world. Someday from heaven you will see the results of all your efforts. Rest in peace,” they expressed.
