Popstars, the iconic Argentine show that returned to TV in 2026, opened its doors again to discover new artists. The format focuses on young people who aim to stand out for their talent, charisma, and ability to sing and dance.
During the first episodes aired in August, several contestants began to catch the judges’ and the audience’s attention. Among them were Máxima and Valentina Tellado, two sisters who decided to audition for the reality show and, after individual auditions, managed to advance to the next stage.
Who Are The Sistars
Máxima is 20 years old and Valentina is 22. Both had artistic training from a young age, especially in singing and dance, and over the years they incorporated different resources to build their act.
In 2017 they began developing their musical project. Their first steps involved covers they shared on social media, accompanied by their ukuleles.
Over time, some of their performances began to be shared by the artists whose songs they covered, which allowed them to gain visibility and gradually solidify their musical identity.

In June 2024, the duo released Femme Fatale, their debut studio album. The project included several collaborations and featured Brenda Asnicar among its contributors. They also sampled a verse from Quiero, quiero, one of the best-remembered songs from Patito Feo.
