For the Para Ti Gala, Maximiliano Jitrik created a dress specially conceived for India Ortega, his muse and starting point for this piece. The design arose from the bond between them and from an artisanal process carried out directly on her body.
The garment was built using the moulage technique, which allows working directly on the body to shape the silhouette and achieve a unique drape. Beneath it, Jitrik designed a corset with a dyed edging in a nude tone, conceived as a first skin and as a kind of “mannequin” on which the dress was constructed.

India Ortega y un diseño súper glamoroso

From this base unfolds a mermaid silhouette, accompanied by a buche that strategically reveals the corset. The play of transparencies, overlays, and textures is one of the main protagonists of the proposal and responds to one of the aesthetic pursuits the designer shares with India.

The dress is crafted in embroidered tulle with ice-toned organza flowers, embellished with crystals that impart delicate pearly reflections. The result is an ethereal and sophisticated piece, where transparency and structure coexist in balance.

“The latency of this dress is the time I shared with India,” Jitrik explained when describing the creative process behind the piece.

Thus, the design not only functions as a gala dress but also as the expression of a creative connection: a piece built on the body of its muse, where artisanal work, textures, and the silhouette’s architecture tell their own story.
A night to celebrate Argentine fashion
The Para Ti Gala brought together on August 19 various figures from the local scene to celebrate the magazine’s 104th anniversary.
At the Basavilbaso Palace, each of the muses wore a creation specially designed for this evening, in a celebration where “Latency” was the starting point to imagine new ways of understanding fashion and creativity.

With its stately architecture, its French-inspired details, and an atmosphere that blends history with sophistication, the Palacio Basavilbaso was the chosen setting for the Para Ti Gala. A unique space that, with its timeless elegance, made this night even more special.
Betano was part of the Para Ti gala with an activation inviting the night’s protagonists to live a different experience, in line with its entertainment and fun proposition.
Drean joined the Para Ti gala with a proposal that blended design, innovation, and technology, and surprised guests with an exclusive preview of its new era, through a preview of its upcoming release.
Bodega Escorihuela Gascón accompanied a new edition of the Para Ti Gala, pairing a selection of its wines with a night that celebrates the evolution of fashion and contemporary culture. This participation aligns with the brand’s strategic vision of inhabiting culturally relevant spaces, connecting its legacy with the platforms and conversations that define today’s vanguard.
The gala’s security was provided by Perroti, who accompanied the invited figures throughout the night.
In keeping with a night that celebrates fashion, the gala’s ambiance was managed by Mónica Pons Eventos, with a sophisticated and stylish setup that complemented the elegance of the Basavilbaso Palace. @monicapons_eventos.
