This Wednesday, August 19, Para Ti celebrated its 104th anniversary with a new edition of its traditional Gala, which took place at the Basavilbaso Palace.
Under the concept “Latency”, the evening focused on what exists before fashion becomes an image: the hours of work, the materials, the techniques, the knowledge handed down from generation to generation and, above all, the hands that make each creation possible.
For this edition, fifteen leading names in Argentine fashion were invited to interpret the Gala dress code from their own creative universe. Each designer worked with a muse to transform an idea into a unique piece.

The result could be seen in a presentation that brought together different perspectives on contemporary Argentine fashion.

Fabián Zitta with Romina Gaetani

The closing of this tour was led by Fabián Zitta with Romina Gaetani.

The designer was one of the 15 references invited to stage a creation inspired by the concept that threaded through the entire night: Latency.

Latency: looking at what happens before
The desfile was much more than a presentation of dresses. It was a way to focus on all that happens before a garment finally reaches our eyes.

Before becoming an image, fashion is time: the time for an idea, for a test, for a technique, for an embroidery, for a hand that learns and another that transmits that knowledge.

Because behind every dress there are people who cut, sew, embroider, weave, iron, test, and begin again.
In that sense, Latency proposes stopping the gaze and reclaiming the value of craft, precisely in an era when fashion images appear and disappear more quickly than ever.
And that was one of the great premises of Gala Para Ti 2026: to celebrate Argentine fashion, but also to look at what often remains invisible.
The hands. The time. The knowledge. The creation.
A Special Detail for Each Designer
As part of the celebration, each of the 15 designers received a 500 ml Jeane Mortenson home spray, a fragrance designed to accompany everyday spaces.
The chosen scent was Côte Bleu, a detail that added to the Gala experience and aimed to extend the celebration beyond the night.
Thus, each designer also took home a memento of this edition of Gala Para Ti, in which fashion, craft, and creativity were the great protagonists.
