The tragedy that shocked Mendoza added another fatal victim this Tuesday. Ariadna Tillar Rodríguez, 54, died at Perrupato Hospital as a result of the grave injuries she suffered in the head-on collision that occurred on Sunday on Provincial Route 60, in Fray Luis Beltrán.
The woman was the mother of Juana Masó Tillar, 21, and Rosario Masó Tillar, 19, who had died on Monday as a result of the injuries caused by the same accident.
Faced with this loss, Tomás, Ariadna’s son and the sisters’ brother, shared a heart-wrenching message to bid farewell to the three women in his life.

“My world, my women”: Tomás’s pain
“I did not want and would never have imagined doing this: saying goodbye to my sisters and my mom, my world, my women,” the young man began in his message.

With words pierced by grief, he recalled his mom and sisters’ everyday presence: “The ones who waited for me when I came home from work, the ones who got mad if I came home late, the ones who would call me at any hour to know how I was, for whom I would have given my life.”

Then, from the depths of his sorrow, he made a plea: “Please, all I ask is that you rest and stay together as you did when you were here, and take care of me as you did.”
“I know I won’t be the same after all this”
Tomás also spoke about the impact this loss will have on his life and on his entire family.

“I know I won’t be the same after all this, but don’t let us fall and give strength to the whole family,” he wrote.

And he added a line that sums up the depth of his pain: “There is no text to explain the pain I have and with which I will live for the rest of my life.”
In the closing of his message, he assured that he would stay with his dad in memory of them: “Here we will continue with Dad for you.”

“I will love them all my life. Thank you for being the people you were; people love you and I don’t know how much I love you,” he expressed.
Finally, he remembered the three victims and closed with a message of love: “THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, MY LIVES!”

A tragedy that left four people dead
The accident occurred on Sunday around 8:50 p.m. on Provincial Route 60, near Piperbo alley, in the Fray Luis Beltrán area.

For reasons under investigation, a Volkswagen T-Cross and a Peugeot 504 were involved in a head-on crash.
Five people were traveling in the T-Cross. Ariadna was in the rear seat with her daughters. After the impact, the three were transported to different medical centers due to the severity of their injuries.

Juana died on Monday at 17:44 after suffering cardiac arrest. Hours later Rosario’s death was confirmed; she had been flown by helicopter to the Central Hospital and remained on life support with brain death.
Ariadna, meanwhile, remained hospitalized in intensive care at Perrupato Hospital. According to the hospital director, José María Llaver, she had been admitted intubated and unstable, with polytrauma, fractures, and multiple injuries.

The fourth fatal victim was Oscar Aníbal “Chacha” Fernández Mercau, 48, who was driving the Peugeot 504. He was a well-known amateur football referee in the eastern Mendoza area.

Two people who were traveling in the T-Cross remain hospitalized, one of them in critical condition.
