Amid the ongoing legal and media clash he maintains with Wanda Nara over their daughters, Mauro Icardi drew attention again on social media with a post that many interpreted as a dig at his ex-wife.
From his Instagram account, the forward shared an image generated by artificial intelligence in which he appears in front of a mirror, shirtless, with a clearly artificial weight gain. About the photo he wrote: “How those who criticize you want to see you,” alluding to the criticisms that, as he implied, he frequently receives.
Minutes later he posted the same photo, but unedited, showing his real physique. In that image he added another sentence loaded with irony: “To those who criticize. What nerve.”

Although Icardi did not name anyone directly, the timing of the post coincided with the online reactions to some images of Wanda Nara in a swimsuit.
In recent hours, various photos of the businesswoman circulated, sparking comments about her physical appearance. Some users even compared images published by the presenter herself with others that were claimed to have been edited.
In response to that situation, Wanda replied bluntly from her social networks: “One is a video and the other is Photoshop from you, paid trolls. I love my body.”

Hours later, Icardi posted another Instagram Story. He once again shared a mirror image, this time just out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist.
Alongside the image he dedicated a message to China Suárez, his current partner: “How lucky I am to cut my hair and have a multifaceted girlfriend who learned to dye me. I love you @sangrejaponesa.”
Although the post was focused on praising the actress, it was also read by some followers as another gesture within the tense context he maintains with Wanda Nara.
For the moment, the host has not referenced her ex-husband’s posts, so interpretations continue to be based on the context and on the reactions stirred by the images on social networks.
