The legal conflict between Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi added another chapter. While uncertainty continues about the situation of Francesca and Isabella in Italy, Ana Rosenfeld decided to speak out publicly and shared a document that, she asserted, is key to understanding where the dispute over the ex-couple’s daughters should be resolved.
Wanda Nara’s lawyer turned to her social networks to display a ruling issued by Italian justice in 2025, with the aim of dismissing reports that suggested Mauro Icardi might advance with custody-related challenges for the minors in that country.
The ruling Ana Rosenfeld shared
Through her X account, Rosenfeld posted a document from the Milan Ordinary Court and explained that the decision had already been made a year earlier.
“I inform you that on July 23, 2025, Judge Anna Cattaneo (Milan Ordinary Court) expressly resolved that Italy has no jurisdiction over custody, residence, communication arrangements, or the minors’ support“, the lawyer wrote.
As she emphasized, Italian justice determined that these matters should not be resolved in that country, but in the corresponding jurisdiction, while Milan courts retain jurisdiction only to process the divorce between Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi.
A new chapter in the legal dispute
Rosenfeld’s post arrived amid controversy over the passport renewals for Francesca and Isabella, a situation that keeps the girls in Milan while administrative and legal procedures continue.
In this context, in recent hours there were reports of a supposed strategy by Icardi to have various issues related to his daughters resolved in Italy. However, Wanda Nara’s lawyer sought to dispel these speculations by recalling that there exists a judicial precedent that, she claimed, clearly defines the limits of Italian justice’s competence.
Thus, the presenter’s legal representative publicly reaffirmed her stance on an ongoing conflict that continues to unfold with new episodes almost daily, while a decision regarding the minors’ situation and the future of the dispute between the ex-couple awaits.
