Melanie’s Cancer Came First
The story began in July 2022, when Melanie Shatner Gretsch, 61, discovered a lump in one of her breasts during a self-exam. After undergoing the necessary tests, she received a diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer, stage 4, which had already spread to the chest lymph nodes.
