Nico Paz has become one of the names that generated the most buzz among Argentina’s national team call-ups. At just 21 years old, the midfielder has already made his starting debut with the Albiceleste and confirmed why he is regarded as one of the great hopes of Argentine football.
Born in Spain, he is the son of Pablo Paz, the former defender who rose through Newell’s Old Boys, represented Argentina, and played in the 1998 World Cup in France. Unlike his father, Nico operates as an attacking midfielder and stands out for his technique, speed, and ability to create danger in the final third.
As his athletic development draws increasing attention, details about his life off the pitch began to come to light as well. In this context, his uncle, Fabián Paz, spoke on Puro Show (El Trece) and shared insights into the footballer’s family life.
Fabián Paz, a renowned Argentine designer of footwear and accessories and a member of the creative studio Atelier Pucheta Paz alongside Gustavo Pucheta, did not hide the admiration he feels for his nephew.
“He is very handsome, and if you meet him, I swear you’ll fall in love,” he said, as the program showed images of the footballer.
