A 16-year-old girl died this Monday, September 14, after suffering a decompensation as she was about to enter Stray Kids’ concert at the San Isidro Racetrack. The girl received immediate assistance and was transported to the San Isidro Central Hospital, where she died. The authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident and awaiting the medical-legal report to determine what caused her death.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m., during the lead-up to the first performance of the South Korean band in Argentina. According to municipal sources and the producer DF Entertainment, the teenager fainted in the vicinity of the venue while waiting to enter the show.
The young woman, a native of Isidro Casanova, was accompanied by her 22-year-old sister-in-law. Emergency response personnel deployed for the event acted quickly and arranged her transfer by ambulance to the San Isidro Central Hospital “Dr. Melchor Ángel Posse”, located about 400 meters from the Racetrack.
What happened to the young woman before Stray Kids’ show
According to information released to date, the teenager suffered a decompensation while she was in the entrance area to the venue. Once transported to the hospital, doctors performed resuscitation maneuvers, but ultimately confirmed her death from a cardiac arrest.
However, the cardiac arrest describes the outcome, but does not by itself determine the cause that triggered the decompensation. For this reason, the judicial investigation will have to establish what happened, and the judicial report will be key to clarifying the circumstances surrounding the death.
The case was assigned to Functional Unit of Instruction No. 1 of San Isidro, which is leading the investigation. To date, the medical cause that triggered the decompensation has not been publicly disclosed.
The production company responsible for the show confirmed the episode and expressed condolences to the teenage girl’s family. In addition, it noted that the young woman received immediate assistance from the emergency team and was transferred to the San Isidro Central Hospital.
The death of the teenager generated shock among Stray Kids’ fans and opened an investigation process to determine precisely what happened before her entry to the concert. The case remains ongoing and the medical-legal report is awaited to know the origin of the decompensation.
